Ike Updates

We're fine here in Rockdale. Dad is doing alright at the storehouse in Houston, but will probably be pretty busy. I'm impressed with Mayor White and how he's handling this storm. For an hour by hour update go to my blog.

We tried to find out about your dad---glad all is well...what a storm..we've been following it here...a lot of the newscasters are staying in my hometown---Lake Jackson...which they called Fort Jackson several times last night. Of course Surfside that was right by Freeport--is under water. Freeport is where Garrin and I lived the first 3 wks we were married (and Gma and Gpa Ellis lived for years)
